How Genesis Describes Becoming One Flesh

Genesis 2:23–24 shows God’s design for marriage: man leaves his family, holds fast to his wife, and they become one flesh. Marriage reflects unity, intimacy, and God’s purpose. Husbands and wives are called to honor and center their bond on God.
